Invisalign

First Visit

On your first visit to our office, our dentist will conduct a thorough dental exam. The purpose of the exam is to review the status of your current oral health and to resolve any possible dental problems prior to the treatment. Once an examination has been conducted, our dentist will take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to make your Invisalign aligners. These aligners are then given to you along with instructions on how to use and take care of your them in an efficient manner.

Invisalign Is Transparent

The reason many of our patients choose Invisalign is due to its transparency. The aligners consist of medical grade plastic components, allowing Invisalign to be discreet. Although they are transparent, they will still be slightly noticeable to someone in close proximity to your face.

Invisalign Is removable

Invisalign aligners are the only alternative to traditional braces that can be removed at your convenience. Although our dentist will recommend wearing them as much as possible throughout your treatment, it is nice to have the option to remove them for a special event or simply for the purpose of eating.

Treatment Time

The duration of Invisalign all depends on the severity of your case. The average time for this treatment is between 12 and 15 months.

No Harmful Toxins

A fundamental reason why patients have started to opt for Invisalign is that it’s made up of BPA-free plastic. This quality means that it doesn't contain any plasticizers or other dangerous toxins that can be released into your mouth.

Easy to Maintain

Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign aligners are easy to clean. Our dentist will suggest cleaning them as often as you clean your teeth. To achieve this, you can simply run them under warm water several times a day.

Retainer After Treatment

Once you have completed your Invisalign treatment, our dentist will suggest wearing a retainer. The purpose of the retainer is to prevent your teeth from shifting into the position they were in prior to the treatment.

Invisalign is not recommended for children or patients with severe alignment problems, so find out if its right for you by visiting our dentist at Adams Dental Center. They will be able to evaluate your teeth and determine which braces option will meet your needs most effectively.
